Does the Red Dwarf ever get to Nashville?  I was there in July and at The Opryland Mall was "The Gibson Showcase".  Not only was it a store, but there was also a shop where they build and repair guitars, banjos, and mandolins.  Way cool.

Is that some sort of retirement fund?  Like it's almost twice as good as a 401k?

If you really want that guitar, look for it used.  If you don't mind some scratches and dents and stuff (adds character, right?) you can get killer deals on guitars.  I picked up a Tom Anderson Drop Top Classic (basically a super high end stratocaster) for 650 bucks.  These things retail for 3500 bucks and you have to wait for almost a year to get one because they are all hand made.
