This kit comes with every thing that you'll need to convert bicycle into a motorized bike
You'll still be able to pedal the bike and ride like normal or start the engine by releasing the clutch lever. There's no rope pulling needed. You can stop or start the engine as you ride.

Only problem here in BC is that because it's an internal combustion engine it converts a bicycle into a 'limited speed vehicle'. That means inspection, licencing and insurance. Electric powered bicycles, on the other hand, are exempt from all that.

 I remember seeing this old fella a year or so back that had a chain saw motor rigged up to the front wheel of a bike, Noisy as all hell, but neat.

those 50 and 80cc two stroke bicycle kits are very good examples of Chinese engineering. I once heard of one running every day for almost a whole month without blowing up a bottom end!

Nick, I do believe if you are under 1KW power output gas powered, you can ride in the lowest classificartion with the electrics...but you cannot exceed 30kmph..

Can't remember about the decals, Frank, but it was a groovy purple colour with the shock rear suspension. This is 36 years ago after all!! The rigid rear end ones were blue or red.
I'll touch base when I know I'll be in Kelowna next.
