is actually a 44. Sounds like you and I are almost the same build,

i love that jacket number13 but you are right way too big, i might look and see if i can find one in my size like that, where did you pick it up?

i like the first brown one einyodeler it would be perfect if it was dark brown, might consider the light brown though if i have to, still better than black haha

I got it in a pawn shop at a time when I needed a
jacket and didn't have a lot of money. It didn't fit then
either, but it got me through a winter. I don't think Honda still
makes anything like that. Pity.

How about a Teknic 'Rebel'. It's a distressed black, looks more like a very dark brown to me, patrol style (maybe too Marlin Brando?

).

It has back, shoulder and elbow armor, removable and upgradeable. Lined and vented.

Edit: Number13, that jacket is awesome! It's too bad it would engulf me and my small size.

would bid on it but my wife doesn't understand the importance of a good leather jacket.
she also doesn't get that a few hundred dollars can buy 20 plus years of wear with a good leather.
i have a nice 1970's troopers jacket but the cuffs aren't tight enough to keep the wind out.
it sure looks cool though. if anyone has a nice cafe style size40 they want to part with email me.

is that ebay jacket black or brown, my key 3 features have to be 1. short collars 2. brown is a must 3. preferred vented with a removeble liner.

Old topic I know, but since this is a leather jacket thread and someone was asking for a nice brown one, I found this which looks really good:

If i didn't already spend $300 on a really nice jacket, I'd buy that one! If anybody else gets it though, lemme know how u like it.

Just remember, looks are secondary to the main purpose of the coat which is to protect it's contents. You can't under estimate how important the thickness of the leather is to take the damage of the road instead of your skin. Having just survived a hit at 30mph and a slide into a curb, my coat and boots and helmet took the majority of the damage. But I still got road rash through a very heavy leather coat. DON'T SKIMP and go for the deal....Buy the very best you can afford and them some.

Agreed. The top one is questionable, but the second one I posted, just by looking at it, I can tell its pretty thick. Luckily the jacket I purchased is nice and thick, very heavy on me. Must weigh 10lbs lol

The second one you posted is a Dianese and i dont think they've ever made a substandard product, there stuff is NICE. I bought both my jackets at cycle gear, I have a shift mesh jacket with full CE armor for the summer and an alpinestars Black label leather for colder days. The A-stars i got on closeout for 275 and the shift was on sale for 145. Both good deals IMO

are very nice looking. But man, after checking the prices on their products......... I thought high grade Vanson prices were killers...... from what I found it looks like Dianese goes through the roof over Vanson.
