Hi!

I just found this site and look to be a great place to chat on bike...
I am the proud owner of a 1974 CB550F all original (except the straight handle bar) other than that, it's all there with 9517miles.

Nice bike!  Your bars make my back hurt, though.

You should know that the first model year for the Cb550 F model was 1975.

The headstock number was when it was made. But, the model years were 1975, 76, or 77.

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!
