new winter project has arrived
« on: September 27, 2005, 05:54:21 PM »
Hi, just thought I would post some pics of this winters project. It's a 74 cb550 with 14432miles on the speedo, it runs but cosmeticaly speaking it is rough. Here's to spending more money, may have to get the wife a smaller christmas gift this year.

Listen to me when I say this. Buy her Christmas present now, before you start on the project, then use what's left for the project. You will thank me right around the fourth week of December. If not, my hands are clean!  ;D

Just give her the bike, then you can buy her "gifts" like engine parts, a new seat, paint, etc.
 ;)
I'd rather ride a Yamaha than eat worms.

Buy her a "smaller" gift: A CB400 :)

Think of all the time you can spend together wrenching and polishing. Oh yeah, riding too.

It's soooo tempting to do it, but she would see right through me!  Help me figure out a way to make it seem completely innocent. 8)
