currently, we are working on the website in order to launsch it at the end of the year.
We have listed the seat on ebay with more than 20 detailed photos. I don't want to post any auction numbers in this section of the board.
Probably, do a search for 'Giuliari CB500 / CB750' and you are able to see more photos of our seat.

Other than the seat hinges and latch being on the other side on a k7-k8 what differences are there vs a early mode?

Hi,
we know that the hinges are different and that they are located on the other side.
But it is no problem for us to make our cafe seat fitable to a K7-K8 frame as long as
anybody is sending us his hinges in order to mount them to our seat. (They are just bolt on).
The location of the distance rubbers is different in comparison with the early K models.
We did a conversion today, and the seat fits perfectly to the frame and tank.
All we would need are your hinges, that's all. The seat would be fully functional.
Probably in two to three weeks, we have remanufactured the K7-K8 hinges, too

Updated information:
Our seat works for CB750 K0-K6 (hinges in stock), CB750 K7/K8 (only if you send us the hinges),
CB500 K 72-76 (we have hinges), CB550 K 72-78 (we have hinges).
All listed models above are tested by us and the seat works.
Email us for a pics request or for your questions at info@ClassicCycleCity.com.

Meanwhile, I post some pics of our new seat we have finished today.

Fits CB750 K0-K6, K7/8 (if you send us hinges), CB500 K (72-76), CB550 K (72-78).
The seat cover at the hump is removeable for your custom paint job.
The hump is so smooth that it only needs primer and paint or you can leave it as
black gel-coat.

Enjoy!

Will you make this or the other seat to fit a 550f or 350f? I really want two but one soon will have to do. Black with 350 four gold letters probably...

Hi,
probably. Right now, I don't have any idea how a 550f and 350f seat is mounted to the frame
and i don't know the hinges in order to give it a try.
I have to take a look at the parts list first and to pick up a frame to test it.
Of course, applying the logos on the hump wouldn't be a problem.
Keep you informed.

Hi,

@grumpy,....just drop an email at info@ClassicCycleCity.com or pm me.

BTW, in order to avoid any misunderstandings.
First, before we have posted some informations about our seats, we asked
Glenn and heffay if it would be allowed to do it on the board.
Second, if we sell a seat to a SOHC member we make donations to the board.
Third, we offer free shipping to SOHC members within the USA.

I'll get some more pics up as soon as possible...so busy at work all of a sudden?!

Thanks again the the guys at Classic City Cycle...Top notch work and awesome people. They basically let me camp-out in their garage all day. It was a great experience that resulted in the best seat ever getting on my bike...I really has improved everything, looks, riding position, comfort...just fantastic

That new seat (posted above) looks amaing (English Syle I think?).

Hey Nippon,

I have a 77 CB750K but have a 76 tank on it. Would you be able to move the hinges so the seat snugs up against the tank?

Blimey, the more I read about Giuliari seat the more I realise what a bargain mine really was :o

Hey Nippon, I sent you an email through ebay at Classic Cycle last week about doing a custom 750 four decal.  Me being a numptie, It never occurred to me that you'd be on here too ::)

I've worked out, via the medium of  really bad sketching what it is that I require, so I'll scan them in at work tomorrow and email it to you

P.S: Sort of on topic, I bought a side cover decal to experiment with from Nippon last month.  It arrived at mine (in the UK) within a week :)

Last week I received a totally unsolicited email from him apologising for overcharging me on the postage (I hadn't noticed) and informing me of a refund of the difference back to my paypal account :D
Folks really don't come any cooler than that 8) 8)

Funny that you should post on Guliari seats,  I just put one on my 73 CB750.  Ted at ClassicCycleCity made on for me.  Fits perfectly and looks great!  Great workmanship and a very good  man to deal with!
