Another XS650  Tracker  ::) (must be hundreds of these Yamaha 650s built this way, and yet so many that are different, in their own way!)

Love the pipes (must be a Scottish thing) on the blue Yammi. Heck, I like that BSA(?) big time too. ;D

I have that Jim Thorpe (fast running Indian) as a desk top!

OK, possibly a bit un-PC? ::)

While this bike is not a "Tracker", it is a Race bike (Road Racer that is). ::)

That is an excellent bike! What kind of dampeners are those in back?

Here's yet another one I'd like to know about.

Bill, I don't have a clue about the rear shocks on that one I posted, I'll have to see what I can find out! ;)

This bike YOU posted, is a real looker!

Bill, That Yamaha (that you wanted to know what kind of rear shocks were on it) came off of 650motorcycles.com and here's all that was with the photo:

It started as a 1983 Special and has now gone to the dark side. The basic bike is done, now I need to finish the motor hop-up. A 750 kit, plus hot cam and ported head will finish it off.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry, nothing about the rear shocks. :(

At the risk of seeming unloyal to my beloved Honda I would be a happy guy with either or both of these things!

I was never into Dirt Trackers but looking at all these pics and interpretations...

I think I'm starting to get hooked.

Uh oh HavocTurbo! :o This doesn't sound good at all! :o You see, Bill and I already have it (the disease!) and you've been hanging around with us! ::) The Prognosis just isn't too promising. :(

Actually, after giving it some thought, I think you might have it worse that I do and are tied with Bill on the severity of it all! :D

Old action shots???

Here's one for you:

I have no idea who #100 could be.  ;) ;)
A good bike mechanic only needs two tools, WD40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move, but should, use the WD40. If it does move but shouldn't use the duct tape.

This is my first visit to the tech forum. If I would have known anything like this was posted, I would have been here much sooner. I can't get excited about bobbers or choppers and a cafe has to be very clean.
The track bikes are very nice, but the transition to street legal looked like and add on for many.
The Yam 650s looked the best after adding lights. I would like to see a 4 cyl done clean and modern w/disks. JMHO
