Not a SOHC 4 but it's fun to mess with.

A good looking, clean, two-wheeled (most important  ;)) machine, congratulations!
We'll all be someone else's PO some day.

It looks nice.  Bung it in the Gallery anyway.

One of my mates had one in the 70's (we all had "fours"). He was only a little fella and had to pull up at the kerb to reach the ground.  One day, when my 500 was off the road, he gave me a lift into college and was determined to show me how torquey the motor was.

That's the only time my feet have come up level with the riders helmet while riding pillion!!

I've always liked that tank.  I've often wondered if it would be mountable on a CB550F.  Closest thing to a GB500 tank I'd ever get.

very nice.
What year is it?
I just scored a 70 CB350 for free off my 4 wheeling forum. I can't wait I pick it up on the 26th.

Hello, It's a 1976 with 17K on it.  I was goning to repaint it black but since the paint is not fadded and in good condition, I will just keep it all original.  I am having the carbs cleaned and rebuild and I looked in the tank and saw a little bit of rust at the bottom.  But, I can't tell if it is stuff that has settled on the bottom or rust on the tank.  One side has it and the other really doesn't.  I don't know if the tank will fit any other bike.

Youll wanna get that tank cleaned out/treated before those carbs go on or theyll just be comming right back off.  Could try an inline filter if its not that bad though.

What's the best way to clean the tank out.  It's not real bad but has some stuff in there.  Also, I can not seem to remove the tank.  Is it supposed to slide up and back?
