Home Safe. Thanks!
« on: October 25, 2008, 09:25:52 PM »
So this is where I've been the last two weeks:

My 37 year old bike performed flawlessly but for the abuse of its operator. Just wanted to say thanks for all of the advice and encouragement. A year ago I never would have dreamed that I would have even tried a trip like this. And yes, it was a total blast!

Hey!!! I offered you a bed in New Zealand....what happened ya wimp? ;D ;D ;D

That is some ride and without major catastrophes, well done.
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Great looking trip.  I echo the chorus to post a ride report (looking at a long trip myself).

Saw it at Bonneville last year, chased tools for him, as his English was not the best, and he flew in with about a lunchbox full of tools :o
