which way does this baffle fit?

stupid question - i'm installing this baffle in my collector, and i'm not sure which way to put it in. which way should be exiting the collector? thanks in advance...

I am embarrased! How could something seemingly so simple be so hard?  Every baffle I have ever delt with was tapered to fit the megaphone and was as easy as figuring which side of a spoon is the top.  ::)

that's why i'm having trouble! i didn't think i was going to have to figure it out - i thought it would either be obvious, or instructions or markings would indicate the right way. wrong on both counts...

The end in your hand should be the exit end of the exhaust

that's kind of what i was thinking. seems like otherwise it would be too much of a restriction.
