Won First Place at the Harvest Classic.....
« on: October 27, 2008, 01:36:32 PM »
Hey Guys back from the Harvest Classic .

What a great event. I can't say enough about how great it was.

Picked my little brother up in San Antonio and spent Friday riding.

Saturday was the bike show.

The little 400 Took first in the 1975-1979 class....against some really really nice bikes.

Great representation by Hondas. Was in the show parked next to a 1977 CB750K. Nice bike.

A Honda won the 1960-64 class too.

Talked up the SOHC forums so maybe we'll get some new folks....

Heres a short video with more pictures to follow......

Very nice bikes and very nice vid. Congratulations on your prize. It looked like stiff competition.

Congrats!

I've had the RC172 replica in three shows this summer and have taken three 1st places with it. The last one, Scott Parker was one of the judges. Being a racer, he was really taken with it. SHould of had a camera with me and gotten a picture of the 9x AMA grand National champ sitting on the RC.
A good bike mechanic only needs two tools, WD40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move, but should, use the WD40. If it does move but shouldn't use the duct tape.

The hill country is like another planet compared to the swamp here.  Beautiful scenery and bikes too.  Congratulations on the trophy - I've seen pics of your bike all over the internet so it must have caught a lot of eyes.  Looks great.
