Question - 1981 CB750K

I am considering buying this bike off of craigslist.  Can anyone tell anything about this bike?  Good? Bad? & Ugly?

Looks solid, a good place to start and priced right if the title and tires are good.  I would expect to put $1000 in parts, paint, and fluids to make her nice.  The 3000 in Ohio is a total fabrication  ;D

750 was a better bike than the 900DOHC
the shorter cam chain doesn't wear holes through the cylinder as quick if it hasn't been serviced properly.
 Couple of generator issues, the usual ign. units overheating but otherwise a pretty good bike.
 I preferred modded 750's to 900's (specialised in repairing the damn things for 3 yrs)

         I've got an 80' CB750K and really like the bike. Now, the 1st thing I'd do with that one would be to take that 4 into 1 off and just send it to me because it would obviously do MY bike MORE good than it would do yours! ;D ::)  Just kidding. Mine has the Jardine 4 into 2, but is a pretty good runner! ;) So, are you going for it? You WILL let us know, right? :)

Without finding my bulletin book i cant say the range but some 750's needed an oil path mod so they didnt blow the sprocket seal out

       Well, since I've got an 80' CB750K and most of a 79', They are probably right in there! ::) Appreciate the info on that, Bryan. ;)
