I did snap a few and then my camera batteries died. I'll have to see if they turned out okay. I'll definitely take a couple of the state the bike is in now... I'll add the pics to my continuous "1977 Cafe Build" thread" in the Project Section.

I'll sure have a bunch of nice before and after shots. :D

we want "during" pictures,lot's of em,that way you share your pain and for us it's a reason to say"yep,...been there...done that,oh,god yeah,that was a bugger to do.."

did you remove the rear engie plate or just remove the engine bolts? There is a mounting plate that must be removed before you can actually slide the motor out.

Find out where the motor is making contact with the frame and see how to remedy it. The first time I did this I had my cb750 motor out in 1.5 hours, after that I am pretty sure I can pull one now in about half that time.

Gosh....remove the breather cover and the engine practically fell out on its own.

:D

The rolling chassis is now in the basement and the engine is now sitting in my shed. I need to borrow a hand cart to move it downstairs. I wish I could have gotten some pics of the process but the camera batteries were dead.
