Topic: CB750 side cover emblems

My 75 CB750 came with aftermarket side covers.  The PO stepped on the right side cover and broke it.  It did come with the one good left side cover but the Honda wing emblem on that cover looks backwards.....like it should be on the other side.  The wing in the emblem is pointing to the rear of the bike, like a > sign.  Can anyone tell me if that is correct?

As I recall there are four possible sidecover wing emblems on the 70-75 K's (non-K0):  amber, red, wing right, wing left.  Yes, the wing should face forward.  I don't know what paint colors used red vs. amber.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. I believe the k1 was red and others afterwards k2-6 were amber.

I think the K1 and K2 had the red one. The K3 had amber, as did the rest of them.

I understand the later K2's got the amber diamond. Mine were missing.
