The 400F I bought had the same things done to it.  I've since removed the lowering blocks.  I found a set of stock forks on eBay and am in the process of rebuilding them before I swap them on.  You might also check Craigslist for some 750 forks.

http://www.servicehonda.com/test/index.htm

If you go to the above link and login to their system, you can look up the part number and it will show you what other models used that same part number.

so according to the info from this company's system, the fork part #'s are all the same for the following 750's;  k0,k1,k2,k3,k4,k5,k6....  good to know i have more options then just k6.
thanks for the link Joel!

I bought a pair of CB750K3 forks thinking they would fit my CB750K2.

no kidding?  looks like ive got some more research to do. thanks for the heads up.

so if i take the lowering blocks off, with the extended tubes still on it, it will still help the ride and handling, right?

Never rode mine with the chopper stuff but I would think the handling would be better. Ride, don't have a clue.

Ask some questions, see what forks will interchange with your model. Chances are you can score a set of forks cheap on ebay .

Something else you may check....
I had a 16" rear "Harley" rim and fatty tire. Couldn't run a chain guard and the brake reaction bar was rubbing the tire. Could be a dangerous situation.

There may be someone that wants the chopper stuff, a straight up trade is possible if you could work out the logistics.

I think some people go the gl1100 forks.  What the upgrade is, I am not sure but then I am sure there are many posts on that.

The tubes are beefier (35 vs 33mm?) and the GL has dual discs, maybe more powerful. Its not a slip in upgrade as you have to use the GL triple trees and work out your own headlight and instrument mounts. Fender issues, probably other as well.

I recommend you do the following as well, since the person that did the semi chop, actually did it correctly, youll need  stock brake hose, from the master to the  block & the block to caliper as wellthrottle cables, clutch cable,as they will be too long when you make the swap to stock, check the steering head bearings as well ,nows the time for the taper brg upgrade for smoother  action.later..RS
