CB1100R. I just love it.
« on: November 07, 2008, 08:33:36 AM »
I love this baby. I am now considering going with this paint scheme! Blacked out engine, red frame, white base on the tins with Red/Blue color swatches! Sweeeeeeet jesus.

I don't think a 71 CB500 frame could stand having the "underbelly" portion of the frame cut away like that. Would have to do a custom build. Still really really really hot though!

every time i go into a shop i say:  "why are they building these bikes so angularly and pointy?  that looks retarded.  i like the bike to look like a big mean animal.  i like the bug eye look of the 90s way better"

Look out for the November issue of "Classic Bike" there is a big article on the 1980's road version and its on the cover!
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

Remember "Its always in the last place you look" COURSE IT IS YOU STOP LOOKIN THEN!

Not that I'll be able to afford one of these but I'd really like to see them come out with it.  I love the looks.  It's an old meets new feel.
