barnyard fresh 78 cb750a

Anything I should watch out for or prepare I was given a cb750 a 78 this summer and i am about done going through the carbs The tank looks very clean I dont know much about the nautomatics I am going to check the points and timing any thing else to look for thanks mike

Yah.....watch out for little men in your shop at night f**&king up what worked the day before.

If you do catch them, don't try to stop them...  They're Union.

As an owner of a 1977 cb750a, I would suggest you pop the left side cover off and have a look at the fuse box and fuses. The old glass type fuse clips can corrode and cause resistance and get the fusebox hot enough to melt around the clips and melt the solder out of the ends of the fuse(s). If the clips are dull in color, clean them up with some scotch-brite or emery-cloth. You can do a search for alot of good info just use the word "FUSE" etc....
