If the bearing is wobbly it could conceivably allow the wheel to move enough for the rotor to jam against the brake pads, or possibly a little sideways movement in the wheel possibly caused by a loose axel nut. Both of these should be noticable in the handling of the bike, to check lift the bike onto the centre stand get someone to push down on the back of the bike or jack the front up to get the front wheel off the ground then give the front wheel a good wriggling and see if there is any unusual movement, the only movement should be the wheel turning on the axel.
