Hey guys, I'm a newbie to motorcycles to start off. I was given a 76" CB750 for free and I'm planning on giving a custom softail/bobber look. After getting it home i found that the kick start would not "kick" turn over. I pulled the bike off the trailer (backwards) and after unloaded i tried the kick start it worked...then tried again and nothing. Pushed it backwards and played with it and..it worked
. Tried again and nothing. So, i just stopped messing with it because i knew it wasn't "locked up" due to it rolled over. Does anyone have any suggestions where to start. I'm planning on rebuilding the motor do to 20 years of storage in a garage. thanks.
