ok i need  two right side covers. problem is between my buddy and i, we cant get side covers that work.
the forward top (right in picture)  is vertical not horizontal.  any help is greatly appreciated

ok looks like i found an answer.
so the 76 f and k models had a lot of shared parts. more so in 1976. so the side covers should be of the 550k?  if anyone can prove this i will run a mile! tonight! in under 8 minits.
please have ambulance ready.

Sniff through this thread.  It get a bit deep.  Do not know if it will get you what you need but you will get a side cover education for sure.

550 F and K had a lot of shared parts. Unfortunately for you and your fellow F owners, side covers are not on that list.

LPM has covers listed for bikes sold in UK as 500F which fit U.S. 550K not F.

I think you're stuck scrounging fleabay for used ones.

Ok found some on ebay! Hope they work!
Looks like it uses the k style! Read up and found that I have a rare (but not in a good way) 76! Its a k frame with all these half a$$ed mix of parts! Driving me crazy! I think ill sell the second one and get a 750 to fix up next.
