CB550 clutch
« on: August 07, 2008, 11:22:39 AM »
Are ALL CB550 clutch assemblies from 1975 to 1978 K and F models the same?  ??? I'd like to get an entire setup as a spare.  My bike is a 1977 CB550F super sport.  Thanks!

Some sites say same. No. I bought mine for my 75' 550F from Honda. They show a different part# for the F and the..........other one. I got a Honda clutch because they designed the bike and the parts are good. Works like new. Good luck.

Sounds like the push rod is out of socket or the lever on the crank case has past the point of no return and slipped over the pressure plate inside... I'd open it back up, it's the only way to be certain.
