New from Vermont with lots of bikes
« on: November 10, 2008, 06:31:15 PM »
2x CB400F '75,'77
2x CB550  Ones an F the other is just a four
1x CB750F '78  In pieces.  In my shop.
Hey guys and gals.  I am new here.  I am in the upswing of a CB750F cafe project.  I'll start off with saying that I am well versed in old Honda language and I love to speak it.  I am a mechanic and take pride in keeping these old girls alive and ticking so well.  I may not be the most aesthetically geared person, as in I don't like to ride around on a jewelry box, but I love the fine tuning involved with making gears turn.  I prefer to "rustore" my bikes but this time, with the 750, I am going for a look.  What the heck?
So anyone out there that has a pile of '77-'78 left side covers for a CB750F, drop me a line and I'll give you the address that you can send one to.  Donations are tax deductible since I seem to be a non-profit, and rest assured tat you will be donating to a good cause.   ;)
Anyway,  Hello and I'm sure that we will have some fun.
"Sure, if you don't want that bike in your backyard, I guess I'll take it."  "I'll probably just scrap it......"

I need a right turn signal ear volkswagendan.  I've had crap luck finding one in good shape.  I'm always a little late when someone posts one, or it's rusted out, etc.   How's the seat?  I might be interested in that too if it's better than the one I'm running now.

Welcome 78SS.  I keep teetering on restoring my 78F, it's pretty far gone but I keep gathering parts for it.  Eventually, if it gets to the point where I have more good than bad, it might go back on the road.
