To start with, how about a Parilla 250cc Wildcat Scrambler?

How about a Legendary 56' BSA Gold Star? (Folks made a lot of them into Flat Track Bikes)

63' BSA Rocket Gold Star (similar look of the Gold Star, but with a 650cc Twin engine)

BSA Firebird Scrambler

BSA Hornet (Obvious what it was for, huh?)

I know what ya mean. I've been thumbing through my classic Brit magazines lately. Although I kinda like the idea of hopping up a Honda 650Hawk but kitty needs dental work and car needs brakes... and 550 needs attention, and so on.

That first one is a DKW Roarer I think.. supposedly loudest race bike made !

Can someone please post a pic of a Ducati 250 Mach 1... often called the Ultimate lightweight Sporting Single.. had one when I was a kid, and found one butchered into a flattracker , hasd that one about6 years ago..

Greevesfield (Greeves- Royal Enfield)

250 NSU-Norton (NSUManx engine in a Norton frame) A waste, in MY opinion!

Norvin (Vincent engine in a Norton frame) BEAUTIFUL!

Norton JAP V-Twin

Of course, the Triton! (Wish the photo was bigger!)

Unity Norbstar (anybody heard of this one? What is it, hard to tell from photo. Norton/BSA/? ? Just a guess)

Good call on the DKW guys! I'm a big Auto Union fan but didn't know they had their hands in my other passion- bikes! Time to read up.

Norvins seem to be popular; I think there's someone in the US building them now.

And JAP motors must be something as I know Morgan used them in their cycle cars. Ecosse loves cycle cars.

I must admit I feel a tad disloyal to my Japanese girl, now tucked away, with all this time at the computer looking at Olde Euro/Anglo and vintage race bikes. I'll get over it.

Bill, I believe those are JAP engines, but I can't be sure.

As far as the Super Hawk goes, I figured it might help ease your conscience AND give ME a shot in the arm, to try and find time AND the space, to work on MY poor old Super Hawk project (among others).
