I hear ya Bill, I was going to post the Norvin and then I saw that HavocTurbo had already done THAT one and so, I was left to do the other one. ;)  And I can tell you, THAT would be one AWESOME ride!

I believe I'd go for the E-V (as you call it) 8) ;)

My Dad got the opportunity to take a Black Shadow for a spin (back in the early 50's and could not believe how fast it could go and how quick it could get there too! :o He said that he had wondered why the speedometer was so big and turned up like it was. Seems that, at speed, it was the only way you could see it and be able to read it! :D

Some day I hope to swing a leg over something so special. Man, a Black Shadow. :o

These two have been collecting dust in my files. I have a soft spot for this Royal Enfield; seems a number of memorable bikes were build by arms manufacturers such as Royal Enfield and BSA.

OK, from the top: That '63 Interceptor is stunning! Digging the Ace with the cream wheels, the twin twin engines is hilarious!! :D Insane. Lastly, the '67 is right up my alley. I want it! Well, among the 30 some odd other bikes I want.

Apparently they are "pro" sidecar racers.... either way... It's definitely different.

Pretty cool Havoc! Bill, I still can't get over your last posts!

Here's something for ya. Beautiful tanks and the seat on the one in back. Thanks to my Swiss cheese memory I can't recall where I found this image.

You want different? I got your different, right here!

Dying to know something about this!

Supposedly these tires were the same as used on the Tyrrell Ford six wheeled F1 car.

Flathead Ford!

OK, it's back to Honda Trackers for me. Maybe even fit eating and personal hygiene in there somewhere. :D

Always thought that the Enfield 500 Single and the Interceptors were something I'd like to have and look for them online now and then.

Have to say that Bill's last posts were definitely different alright, but that sidecar set up is really something!

Now I'm always looking for those Super Hawks too and I see that Bill's found these:

Took a second look at their site. Man, it sure appears they have a sense of humor! It's worth a look I think for those who haven't.

Wonder how this handles.

I think if you Google 'Honest Charley' you'll find these are for sale.

One thing that really surprised me about the Fours from the 20,s & 30,s was the weight..

Althought the back wheel on a 30,s Indian was fairly heavy, the whole four weighed under 500 lbs :o, if my memory is working..

..not so bad for a 1200cc+ bike...

I've read something that referred to wood as God's metal, likely a carpenter's words. I like that.
