Does anyone make valve spring shims for s cb750 I thought I would perk the spring up a bit in my 750 f head thats being redone thanks mike

If you can,check some other Honda models.Some use hardened flat inner and outer spring seats that might fit the bill.  Rock On

I have them in stock. They are available is .015", .030" and .060" thickness and are hardened. They fit under the stock cupped shim. I used to have them always listed on ebay but they were never a big seller so now I just keep them handy in case I am asked about them. $12.00 for a set of 8 if you need them.

Why don't you just get a new spring set from Kibblewhite or APE.....they aren't expensive.

Agreed. If you want more than stock spring pressure you should upgrade the springs. Shims should only be used for correcting spring installed height, not increasing the pressure more than intended.

Kibblewhite supplies .060 shims (for the 77-78 F2 heads) with their springs sets for the K series heads. Is this going to be too stressful if I use those shims on a K1 head? I put them on, and they seem ok. It definitely seals the valve faces to the seats much better. Lower leakage values.
