Topic: Lowering with Kerker exhaust

I just installed a Kerker 4-1 on my CB750 K1 the other day, and I have been planning to lower my bike, but noticed that the Kerker extends below the frame about 3-4 inches.  Not much clearance for any lowering... has anyone lowered a bike with said exhaust?  I thinking that I need to have some headers custom made with a Kerker muffle... maybe?  Anyone's thoughts.

I've got a Kerker 4:1 on my 750 K3, but the PO tossed the rear hanger rod in favor of a hose clamp around the muffler inlet, and another hose clamp holding the first one up against the rear brake pedal pivot. A poor description, but if you can picture two hoseclamps, a big one (around the muffler inlet) with a smaller one (around the brake pedal pivot) looped thru it at 90 degrees.
this is as high as this pipe can go, I just didn't like the exhaust leaks it caused at the engine end.......
do you have the correct length of the hanger rod? I've made a few attempts, but have never found out what the stock length is from the center point of each hole.
