You might want to try doing a search on "oil." You will find 25 pages of information, much of it on past discussions as to which is 'best.' Mostly in the eye of the beholder. ;)

Brian, no popcorn?  ;)

Okay, I'll tell you that I like the oil at my dealer.  Honda GN4, 20W50.  Adjust accordingly for your environment and riding habits.  May substitute with generics at you local WallyWorld.

But many of us will tell you that more important is to change it frequently.  Oil changes and air filter cleaning or replacement are among the cheapest and kindest things you can do for your motor.

There!  I did it!  Na Na!  :D

What's more, I'm off the net until after the Sabbath is over; so I won't see the repurcussions!   :P

I see you are a new member. It may appear people are having fun with you, but they are not. If you look at the past oil posts, they go on forever. if you ask two of us about the best oil, you will get three opinions. Go with your gut on the brand and type, and change it often.

I'm thinking of putting oil into every thread.  Its becoming a real must.

Cases in point:

Q:What is my bike worth? A: $3.75, but much more if you use full synthetic.

Q:What is the largest tyres I can put on? A: That depends on what kind of oil you use, as synthetic oil makes your bike go faster.

Q:My bike runs rough, so do I need to sync the carbs? A: Sure, and while your at it you should also change the oil (to synthetic).

Q:What am I doing wrong since I can't seem to adjust my clutch right and its making noise.  A: You're using the wrong oil, you should use synthetic (or not, as the case may be).

Makes sense, doesn't it?   :o ;D

Your supposed to put OIL in these things?  :o
Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Which is better, peanut or olive? Or... Or coconut?
