Bodain, are you on the right forum..??

My next liter machine will be a sohc... ;D

Sorry... Yep! I dig the old CB's as much as the next guy. I suppose a 500 lb. 70's cb 750 would wheelie with an amount of effort. It was just my thought that it would be pointless, when on the other side of the garage is a machine where all you do is think about the front wheel in the air and it instantly rises. ;D

Kinda like the difference between standard TV and HD TV.

Nobody even notices a wheely on a modern bike.... :D

But on a vintage bike, it is even cooler... ;D

I had a buddy that weighed about 155lbs, would think nothing of lifting the whel on his XS11 and keeping it there.. we used to do it all the time. I could not usually keep the 750 up but he could. My Beemer R100RT though was very easy to wheely..

I overdid it and wounded the clutch on the RT at the drags in Sturgis 9did a few burnouts it did not need).. the crowd lved the fact that the wheel would come up when I hit third gear... huge difference pulling the aircleaner on that bike. We had a sohc 750 there too that was ridden out, it ran in the 11,s... fun times   ;D
