what kind of spray equipment are you setup with?  I believe that Dupont has a 2-part urethane clear with a flat or satin sheen.  I get mine from the local Carquest autobody supply store.  I use the 2-part Nason clear urethane gloss a lot and was told about six months ago that Dupont was introducing a line of flat clears, worth checking out.

Hi, I also have a 07 Street Glide that is mat blue. I bought lower fairings for it and had to paint to match. I bought the mat clear for it. It worked great but you had better save your coins when you go and buy it. Tattoo

I was soooo close to trading in my fatboy for an 08 street glide this summer, they had one in denim black but would only give me 9,500 for my fatboy and its got about 28,000 into it so i just couldnt do it. the street glide is def my next bike though.

anyway i found this stuff, http://www.alsacorp.com/products/killercans/st/softfeel.htm   i dont want to spend alot on this project im trying to keep it low budget. i have acces to hvlp set up but would rather find an aerosol can.

autobody supply shops will also carry a "flattening agent" that you add to normal clear.
Yep, I'm the kid that figured out how to put things back together...eventually.
