it appears to be a 77 CB750F, kerker exhaust w/out the baffle.  does not sound like a big bore, but could be  definetly sounds like a cam change.  Sounds a little like mine which has a thrush glasspack on a mac headpipe.

What does 'pro street' mean?
Its a drag racing class defined by pretty much what you see there. The pro relating to allowed engine modifications (It looks like it says "836" on the side cover) and the street indicating it needs to at least look like a street bike, lights and brakes, though struts, lowering, stretching, etc are allowed.
Probably wouldn't want to really ride it on the street though.

I'm sure others know more than I do.

On that bike, right hand turns would be a b--ch. Most drag strips exit to the left.  :)

I work on bikes that go to tracks that have turns. I prefer roadracing to drag racing. Not saying one is better than the other, just have my own preference.

I wonder what the conversation was that lead up to that 19 second video?

It probably went a little like this:

(DRIVER GUY) = "Hey camera guy, take a video of me on my bike, It'll be real COOL"

(CAMERA GUY)= "What'cha gonna do? A long burn out ? Smoke the tire off? Drop the clutch and disappear down the road real quicK?"

(DRIVER GUY)= "Nah, I'm just gonna pull over there in front of that other bike on the other side of the road. Do you have the camera on ?"

(AUDIENCE)= WTF??

Not to thread jack, but:

"Dale's favorite Honda was his 1170 cc (( :o)) bored and stroked SOHC 750 named Blackie. This bike had 14.0:1 CR, aluminum I-beam connecting rods, polished and lightened crank, and a cylinder head with over 100 hours in it. In the early 80's, Blackie was one of the fastest normally aspirated Hondas of all time, setting the national record in the class at a 9.39 ET @ 142 mph. It may surprise you that that Dale ran these numbers with 29mm smooth bore Mikunis and manually powershifting the stock 5 speed trans."
