Tank Rubber Installation
« on: November 22, 2008, 12:31:20 PM »
OK guys i just spent over an hour searching for this and nothing. :-\ :-\

I bought new tank rubbers for the bottom of my 78 750 tank, closest to the seat. Is there any tips or trick to installing the new ones. They seem to have a head on them.

This is a pic of the ones I'm referring to.

Thanks

Hi Jakoba,

Items like this I usually coat liberally with petroleum jelly, then get a small portion of one side to enter its fit position......... then, a massive amount of pushing to drive it home......
