then you don't know the difference between a random orbital, "swirling", or a drum sander.

i would literally have to stand the thing on edge for 10 minutes for that sort of result with this random orbital.

ok, ok... i'll let you in on a secret.

its a new beetle kill pine floor, so i used the least damaging floor sander... RO as i like to call her.

damaging a floor with this type of sander is nearly impossible and it is best used for soft woods or light sanding duties... thus, perfect for my present remodel.

stay tuned, i'm almost finished with it and i hope to take a month or so off and devote a full report.

Those things are worthless except for playing games on. Although we were trying to sand paint off of a porch floor with it. Needless to say, we went back and got one with more cajones.

man, you guys are touchy.

dust was zilch... was a brand new machine, that could have helped. but yes, i was wearing a mask except for entertainment puposes. when i got done after the 4 or 5 hours of sanding (where the too much time on my hands and boredom comes from

) there wasn't even a layer of dust on the piano that had to remain in the room. now you're probably gonna jump on me for not covering the piano! well, i have compressed air jerkwads.

remind me never to post anything interesting for you guys anymore $:-\$

i do amazing remodel work and because i clown occasionally you dog me... FTW

Heff, don't that the stick in the cement types get you down! I know the term is normally stick in the mud but some of them are so incapable of having fun I changed it to cement!

Heff your video editing skills never cease to impress! Judging by your apparent work ethic I might suggest a career in government work. And by government work I mean working for the city laying blacktop.

I should know as I've worked for my town and the rule generally spells out: for every man with a shovel, broom, or rake, there must be a minimum of two others to stand by leaning on similar tools to supervise. When out of sight of tax payers, play may ensue.

While in high school I worked for the DPW. I had to sweep a dirt road for two days. Being a grunt sucks.

perhaps it was delayed motion sickness!

But seriously, you should check out The Migraine Brain by Carolyn Bernstein. Heard a couple of interviews with her on NPR about migraines. Pretty useful info.

I've done the same thing. Now my trick is to ride the trikes at work on two wheels.

I used to do this as well, the forks were the perfect width so that one foot could span them, and stay quite balanced. it was a lot of fun, saved many footsteps.
