kickstart weirdness
« on: September 25, 2005, 10:07:33 AM »

just sharing one of my bike's 9many0 quirks. Or maybe it's *my* quirk. Anyhoo, I have a working electric start. From time to time, I try to kick over the bike, and am never able to.

There have been a couple of occasions when the electric start, for one reason or other, has not worked. On *those* occasions, the bike has kicked over on the first try.

it must just be me not trying hard enough when I know the electric start works, but still....strange.

The Electronic Brain under the seat is tuned to sense and respond to the rider's desperation.

Was the bike cold when the kick didn't work and warm when it did?

(Electric Start? Oh! that's what that button is for)
