Topic: CB400F brake shoes

I tried to order a set of brake shoes for the rear of my 400F and was told by Service Honda that they'd been discontinued.  I sent a message to customer service at Bike Bandit asking who the manufacturer of the brake shoes they had listed on their site is and they told me they're OEM Honda parts.

Does Honda still make brake shoes and pads for this bike?

Well David Silver Spares still list both.  Genuine pads are certaintly available from them. I bought some a couple of months ago and in my view they are far better than pattern pads.  The front brake performance is now far more acceptable. Not sure if the rear shoes are genuine, have a look at their site. If they are listed as genuine then they are!
