New memeber from Vancouver, BC!
« on: November 25, 2008, 09:20:55 PM »
Ladies and gents,

My name is Julian. I'm a recent graduate of graphic design and I recently moved to Vancouver from Montreal. I'm 24 years old and I've just put a deposit on my first bike, a 76 CB500 that I am bringing in from Washington. If everything goes well, I'll have her home by mid-week next week! She's going to need some love, but I have the winter to get her running again!

I am a VW guy but I sold my car to head out west and commute on a bicycle. I'm itching for another project, so I'm hoping to have some fun with the CB.

I'll post some pictures when I get her home! I look forward to chat with everybody on the forums and exchange knowledge as I go!

Greetings and welcome to the forum.

Are you positive its a 1976? I say this because Honda never made a cb500 four that year as they had bumped them up to 550's.

We love pictures.
   This pretty much sums it up.   76' CB592 cafe. 69 750 project, 03 CBR954, 75 750 super sport.

Yes, it's definitely a CB 550.. my mistake! It needs quite a bit of work - and the previous owner painted flames on the tank and side covers. If you look beyond that, it has some potential!
