called my buddy who is a parts manager he can get me it for 130.

don't think i'll be able to beat that.

This brings up a good point that I haven't seen here on this forum. Many forums will have a group buy section where they will set up a deal with a retailer to get a discount on a part if they can get a certain amount of people to commit to buying them.  For example, maybe your friend the parts manager would sell them for 120 if we could get 15-20 people to commit to buying them.

Only problem with this is that we're pretty limited to what "new" parts are available to us for group buys.

I think Terry in Australia was doing something like this with wheels a while back.

I would go in on something like this but it would have to wait till tax time! I do my taxes right away. That way if I need something I can get it BEFORE I absolutly need it.
