Topic: Change CB750 to a welded Hardtail

I am thinking about modifying my CB750, 1978 to a welded on hartail.  Has anyone done this and if you have how did it look, ride, after you did it.
I have someone in my area willing to do it for about $125.

have done a cb350 and a cl450.  Nice look tracks fine but I hope you have a soft back side!

Helps a lot , I ran 5 inch spring more travel.   did not have any issues but hard tails are not for everyone.  It actually feels like you are more part of the bike instead of riding on top of it!

So does rear tire size and air pressure make much of a difference?

To be honest im use to hardtails had them for 30 years i did have a couple with sprung seat, didnt like the ride at all but the tire size and presure does make a difference, i prefare the hardtail to a standard bike anyday, i gues its what your use to realy, but she corners and sticks to road like glue id say the 550 is the best iv ever built for handling.
