Strange CB750 cases?

Saw these 2day, 1080 ended up with them..

Number boss was turned 90 degrees and further in towards center of motor ???. Was a sohc 750, but I cant recall ever seeing one like it? Maybe really late one or late replacement?

All other parts on it point to a 78K.

 anyone familiar with this?

I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Have just replied to 1080's post on this - my number boss is like those cases.

Is this not normal?
