I (expletive) love it!!!!!  The last shop I worked in had a 450hs Pratt & Whitney leaning up against the wall.  It came out of a Stearman.  It's still there when I visit.  I can't figure out a good reason, or how, to bring it home.....

Anyone know what happened to those guys, who had a show on the Discovery channel, that would make furniture out of old aircraft parts? The things they made were really cool but they seemed somewhat inept on the business side of things.

There's a cafe here with one like it on the wall and a helicopter blade over the bar, Mary's Bleue Moon Cafe in Sidney right by the airport. it's a must see, been there since before WWII.
Cheers,
Cliff.

Last I heard, the one guy who didn't do much but complain, died of a heart attack. It seamed like he passed away and then the show was removed from the air. I think the show was called "Wing Nuts".

KottkeHead - is that a Morini in your avatar?

I thought I was the only one here with an SOHC (350 Four) & a Morini (3 1/2 Sport)!

Kind of a lumpy table, but I bet you could do lots with 3,000+ horsepower. ;)
