Looking for Comstar part
« on: November 30, 2008, 12:25:42 PM »
Right now I am considering powder coating my Comstar wheels. One of the items that I have to remove to get this accomplished is Item 8 on the attached drawing. PN 42703-410-003, identified as MARK with 10 required per wheel. I have checked a couple sources including Honda directly and it is indicated as no longer available and not in production. Imagine that. If anyone can direct me to 20 of these parts new, or old not used, please help.

You do realize that those parts are optional and not required to utilize the Comstar wheels?  They were deleveted when Honda reveresed the spokes in '80 or '81.

Well yes I do. The only reason I have for installing them after my work is to dress up the hardware at the fitment between the rims and spokes. It is completely for aesthetics.

Used may be your only option, or make some suitable replacements yourself.

I have quite a few of them but I broke at least 2 of them. I am powdering my rims and don't plan on putting them back on. Make me an offer. AGAIN I DO NOT HAVE ALL OF THEM. I will check how many I have.
