I snagged a really nasty CB160 last month since I figured it would be a fun build. Well this weekend I didnt have my daughter and really not much to do so I decide to tear down the bike to see what I was in for. During the email exchanges between myself and the previous owner I verified that there was nothing wrong w/ the frame and swing. Outside of that I didnt really plane on keeping much else beside the engine and hubs. Well after a bit of time, the use of a 10mm and 14mm socket the bike was almost completely apart (serious honda you rule for letting me tear down the bike with like two tools). The only thing was the frame, swing arm and forks. I pulled the shocks off so I could pull the swing arm off to discover the swing arm is tweaked.
Hmm I was really disappointed about this. I have emailed the guy to asking him to refund me half of what I paid which is really isnt much but enough to cover me locating another swing arm. You guys think that is fair since that is one thing I verified before buying the bike?
