« on: February 09, 2009, 09:14:47 am »
So i have my original ignition and tank lock, but . . . like an idiot, seemed to have lost them,  is there a way to get a copy of the keys made, or do i just have to get new everything?

Try the key suppliers in the FAQ: http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=743.0

hondakeys.com is on the list that Steve has provided. I just emailed him last night for my missing key. He just emailed me back that he's got it. Now we're arranging the purchase.

Your key code should be on the face of your switch and fork lock. Be sure they are the same and haven't been mismatched over time like mine are. If they are, you'll need two different keys.

Another option though not nearly as cheap is bring the ignition into a good locksmith and he can get an imprint and cut one....that is what I had to do with my CX since the numbering on the lock was bashed up and ilegible.
