I do not agree fully with what you say. I "know" how to wheelie. I can wheelie for DAYS on my trials motorcycle, hell I can wheelie my dads KLR 650... I've wheelied a friends duc. monster... And they all do things differently. The monster just needed some throttle
the klr is all about body position, and the trials bike lives to wheelie... that being said, it is roughly 175lbs full tank
I've tried to get my cafe'd 550 to wheelie, pull, pull, and rip the throttle, still nothing. My bikes not in great shape, tho. Needs an engine overhaul (winter) and new fork inards, etc. I was simply asking the question as I didn't know if it was strictly my bike, me, or both.
