Happy Christmas sohc4 from the XLF

I joined up temporarily, but, just to show we're not all "Better a sister in a whorehouse than a brother on a Honda" types over there, here are a few tasty and unusual sohc's to get your juices flowing. All taken at a classic bike festival in Dijon last summer. Some may even belong to some of you folks...

CB750 race bike:



Japauto CB750/1000. Rare and beautiful in an ugly kinda way. Compare the finning on the barrels to the stock 750 next to it:



My personal favourite - Moto Martin framed Japauto CB750. I want this bike so much:


Not sure what capacity this is (500? 550? maybe even a 400?), but it was small and sweet.


And finally...







Oops, how did that one get in there?

A bit early, maybe, but Merry Christmas all!!

Merry Xmas to you as well man. Like the others said...stick around your welcomed here especially now that you have shown that you have the SOHC sickness flowing through your veins along with the desire to own an HD.

1980 cb650c first bike i owned now the wife's ride.           1982 xv920j virago, bike i learned to ride on rescued it from a 13 year coma (sitting in the shed) now she runs beautifully and rides like a dream.

No - definitely no chaps!
I only had time to look through the first 3 pages of the inspiration gallery, but some nice bikes in there, especially the cafes, which is what I grew up on.

I'll stick around and have a look at the remaining 30 odd pages when I get a chance.

Chaps may be ok for you cowboy types, but that's one item of bike gear that doesn't transfer well across the pond - at least, not outside of certain clubs (I'm led to believe).  :-* ;) :-X ;D ;D ;D
