Cheap Plug

 ;D

Very happy to say that my bike passed PA state inspection today. I had shied away from Scott Powersports on route 309 because they looked like the "big guy" in town, but to my amazement, the following things happened:

1. I called and they said come on over, we'll have our "classics guy" look at it
2. I went over, and the young girl behind the desk instantly knew what I was talking about
3. When we went to find the "classics guy," he was already outside admiring my bike with another mechanic -- he has two K2's
4. I had an expired insurance card (my mistake), and while waiting for the insurance company to fax over confirmation, which they did not mind waiting for, I was invited to go have lunch with the mechanics
5. It was a beautiful day here in Eastern, PA

...something to be said for good Zen today!!! I think I'll go buy a lottery ticket.... ;D ;D ;D ;D

too bad decent service and civil interactions can't be counted on, but as a wise man said, ya gotta have stuff that sucks to have stuff that's cool.  keep an eye out for philly-area vintage rides, jaan....

hey, skylar.  long time.  didn't realize you were "the crazy egg" or whatever that name means.  did you get that silver bike from rob?  that was one of the bikes that influenced my decision to go silver and black, incidentally.

small world, wouldn't want to paint it.....

I was about to say that you had beautiful weather for your ride over there when I noticed that was already on your list.
I'm just sittin' here across the river in NJ at my computer, wishing I could just go riding!!

Dennis - See my post on the calendar. I'm heading up to the Water Gap area on Saturday along the Delaware. I know some back roads, extended forecast looks great. I just have some more carbtuning to work on, but everything else is a go!

Number six on the list was the open faced turkey sandwich at the Coopersburg Diner ... mmmmm!  ;D
