Hey people, I think they do but are the air filters for the K models from 71 - 78 all the same?
I am looking at a honda filter that is for a 71 - 76.

78 model carbs are differnt to the earlier carbs.... K&N make filters, UNI make them aswell... peace

trust me, I know the carbs are different. If you have to look for a rebuilt kit for tht year, you learn fast. I am wondering about the air filter though. The airboxes look the same and so do the filters. K&N uses the same part number for 71 - 78. SO I just wanted to make sure it is the same filter.

From what the K&N rep told me at the last show, they're the same.  I'm not sure if he's a vintage guy though so you might check out:

Same topic different idea.  Has anyone tried using the K&N cleaners on the original Honda filters?

The Honda stock air filter is the same for the CB750F2 (1978) and the earlier models (K4, K2)....at least in my experience as Ive had all three bikes (F2, K2, K4) and used the same filter :-) Worked for me!
Cheers
