This link is a goldmine for those of you that can read a bit of German. Even if you can't, you'll find a lot of info. I deliberated to post it in the oilcoolerthread, but there is so much more.

Oilcooleradepts may click Motorrad Dezember 1973 Test Scheibel 600 + 820 ccm. Scroll through the article and you'll find that datasheet I mentioned before where the oilcooler 600 and 820 are compared with the standard 500 and 750 respectively.
Click Motorrad Januar 1973 Scheibel 500 and you'll see a 580cc tuned 500 that didn't need an oilcooler.

It's to much to translate it all, but if you'll need any clarification whatsoever, I'll be glad to help.
