1980 cb650c first bike i owned now the wife's ride.           1982 xv920j virago, bike i learned to ride on rescued it from a 13 year coma (sitting in the shed) now she runs beautifully and rides like a dream.

$20 says it sounds like an airplane..... :P

Jesse James had one placed transversely in a frame and it ended up on the cover of Cycle World... Radial Hell I think it was called.

Cool idea. Even if it will never be popular. My hat is off to the engineering.

I think that with designs like this, popularity is usually not the goal.

From what I remember reading about the transversely mounted motor, it was unridable due to the lateral forces on the bike.
