 As far as the early maturing I think it is additives in beef and  poultry industries to promote rapid weight gain... but in humans it causes udder problems...

Almost moved to Beaverton but chose Everett WA for IT jobs. Now back in Indiana and having PMS(Parked Motorcycle Syndrome) due to snow/ice. I miss the Northwest.
