ported head
« on: December 14, 2008, 08:10:37 pm »
hi, i am currently rebuilding my 71 cb500, and i was looking around the motorcycle junker close to my home, and i found a ported cb500 head. the guy wants 150 for it but i think i could get him down to 100. the head has a stamping of the name of the guy who did it. but i cant remember what it is. do you think its worth it?  i was originally thinking of sending my head to mrieck, i had read he does amazing work.

For a $100 it's worth a look. Can you post pics.
